BASA × Audrey Lisik | Women’s Day Collaboration
In celebration of Women’s Day, Business and Arts South Africa (BASA) has partnered with artist Audrey Lisik to release a limited digital wallpaper series that honours the strength, creativity, and beauty of women.
Message from the Artist
In this gentle yet symbolic piece, a woman places ladybugs onto the blooming and towering flower. The flower, lush and full of life, thrives only under her quiet yet intentional care. The ladybugs — symbols of harmony and protection — find their place because she leads.
Her leadership is soft but purposeful. Without her, there would be no bloom, no sanctuary. Growth, beauty, and strength are not separate from her — they are because of her.
The handwritten phrase “She leads with purpose and everything blooms in strength” anchors the piece. Signature accents in BASA’s bright magenta honour the women who transform communities not by leading, nurturing and holding space for life to take root.
Created for BASA’s “She Leads” campaign, part of BASA is a SHE, this artwork pays tribute to the nurturing, creative force of women across South Africa’s cultural and creative ecosystem.
