Lehlohonolo Dube, originally from Kwa Thema, Springs, began his artistic journey at the Sibikwa Arts Centre through a performing arts learnership. He transitioned to professional acting with the Sibikwa Players, performing in various productions by Phyllis Klotz and Smal Ndaba. Dube’s experience extends
beyond acting. He has taught dance and drama extensively in East Rand schools and coordinated the Sibikwa Saturday Arts Academy, a cornerstone project. Currently, he shares his expertise at the Market Theatre Laboratory’s part-time program “ActorWena” and contributes to the Drama for Life Theatre Company’s performances and school interventions (joined in 2017).
