Goodwill Mzwakhe Khachela was born in Vanstadensrus in Free State, and currently lives in Bloemfontein. He is a well-established praise poet. He is a former praise poet for Dimakatso Mahasa, the Free State MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation. He performs at Bubula Annual Praise Poetry and is a founder of the Azania Praise Poetry Festival. He is a radio broadcaster and content producer for the breakfast show at CUT FM.
Mzwakhe, who has a diploma in Human Resources Management, founded Azania Arts 54 Development, an arts and charity non-profit organisation. He runs the registered film, television and theatre production company Mighty Greener Pastures General Trading and teaches art at a number of primary schools. He facilitates youth programmes at events, youth clubs, organisations and churches.
As a trailblazer and community developer, Mzwakhe considers himself an activate change driver who develops, trains and mentors young South African leaders through transformation, edu-taining (education and entertainment) workshops and youth community-building activities.
