Africa Zwelibanzi Ngubane, originally from Emalahleni in Mpumalanga, is a dynamic leader and visionary in the creative realm. As a co-founder of Notepad Poetry, he focuses on connecting poets/writers with their audiences. Through participation in the Debut Programme by Business and Arts South Africa, he has honed his skills in strategic management and leadership. Ngubane’s creative journey spans theatre scriptwriting, performance, events coordination, copywriting, and facilitation. He has led innovative projects like Poetry Giants and collaborated with cultural organisations such as Native Eye Creatives SA and Siyavutha Theatre Group. Beyond his creative pursuits, Ngubane is actively involved in civic education and youth leadership initiatives, contributing to programmes like the National Youth Resilience Initiative and my.voice. His multifaceted approach positions him as a catalyst for positive change within the arts community and society at large.
